Anna and I have been on the hunt for the perfect rug for our main bedroom for a long time now. It’s been a journey of pleasure and pain, to be frank. We’ve scoured rug shops, home stores and a range of websites (etsy.com and notonthehighstreet being the main go-to cyber “providores”) but nothing hit our proverbial Goldiocks zone. It wasn’t until Anna started using her Pinterest to super charge our search and she started hitting paydirt.
We’ve found and ordered this lovely wool/cotton creation from across the pond in Brooklyn, NYC, from a gorgeous little store called Aelfie. The rug is currently being held in a customs warehouse awaiting payment for HMRC’s shakedown. And then, fingers crossed, it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pics.
