When good holes turn bad!

Large artworks or heavy mirrors need to be hung on all manner and ages of walls. Sometimes it’s inevitable that the hole you’re drilling expands in diameter without your permission! The old masonry beneath beatifully plastered walls suddenly gives way underneath your drill and you’re left with a hole much wider than the wall plug and fixing you were hoping it was going to accommodate. Until the time machine is invented there’s been no easy way to make that hole hold your heavy mirror or frame.

Until possibly today. I still haven’t tried this product on a job but Wickes seem to have come up with a way to secure fixings in dodgy walls. I’ll be reporting back once I’ve tried it out but fingers crossed this will make my job a little bit easier.
